I have always seen millions of influencers and bloggers over YouTube who share informative and useful videos for their audience. I admire them for the work they do by sharing tutorials of different products. Inspired by them, I wanted to start my own YouTube channel and share information or tutorials with my audience. But before that I started my blog on 24th March 2017 and stepped into the blogging world. That was a good decision of my life and I admire that at present.

Three Years of Blogging...

Since 2017, I have been blogging at www.amritkauramy.com. Sometimes, I was regular while sometimes, I ignored my blog but there was a point in Nov 2018 when I realised that I need to cope up with the blog and make it successful.

I still remember that I got my first paid blog collaboration in December 2017 that made up happy, but did the happiness stay for long? Not at all! I rarely got paid blog collaborations since then but there were many brands who were happy with barter collaborations. And I excepted that because I was in a mindset that I should get products and collaborate to get famous but this lasted very short for me. I also started my YouTube channel but miserably failed after uploading few videos. This was an end (now, I say it was a pause) of YouTube for me.

Changing Point in my Blogging Journey...

Since 2018, I worked hard to find information (from the internet) to improve my content, blog ranking and be a successful blogger. It took me 4 months to be back on track or I would say achieve the first goal that I dreamt of. On second anniversary of my blog, March 2018, I had filled the entire gap, achieved a great Alexa Ranking (below 1 lakh in India) and maintained writing regular blogs (at least 2 in a week). I was happy with my work and I started realising that blogging is not for products but it is for content.

Content is the King...

The year 2019 was a great year for me as I learnt that Content is the King. Yes, believe me if you have good content then you stand out in the crowd. I started improving pictures and write. I hired a professional photographer to click few of my pictures and she helped me to be comfortable with the camera (check Imagexposure on Instagram). I started thinking of better concepts to showcase the content, products and information. I wrote detailed blog to give every minute details to my audience. This brought a drastic change in me, my personality, my thinking, my blog and Instagram. People started noticing me, appreciating me and my content, and this was second goal that I wanted to achieve.

Since 2019, I started saying, "A BIG NO" to barter collaborations and this is the time I realised that my content is wanted and preferred by the brands because they were ready to pay me. Isn't this great? Well, everyone should realise and respect their own content, say NO to collaborations that doesn't make you feel good and most important work for CONTENT and not products. This is the third goal that I achieved.

Now, in 2020, I am happy that 80-90% of collaborations that I do are paid (except for very few brands which I am associated since long or I like their ideology or something connects, I do barter with them because we have built up a good bond). My Instagram is doing well and I am happy creating content and my blog is getting noticed. So, what else I had dreamt of? Well, I went flash back in 2017 and thought of my YouTube channel. I thought a lot and question my mind, "Do I need to be on YouTube? Will I be able to handle social media, blog and YouTube all together?" And the answer was, "A BIG YES!!" So, I made the decision and decided it to launch on my 3rd blog anniversary i.e. on 24th March 2020.

So, I officially launched my YouTube channel - AMRITKAURAMY on 24th March 2020. I would be regular over here as well. Not to burden myself a lot, I planned to upload one video every Tuesday at 11 am. After few months, I would definitely increase the videos as I plan it accordingly. And this is my fourth goal that came true. Also, for YouTube I am focusing on creating content and rest is up to my audience and Waheguru to help me grow over there as well.

My Experience

I have sensitive skin, so I prefer using mild and gentle scrubs to exfoliate skin. Kronokare Face Scrub is paste so it is easily to massage and exfoliate skin. The scrub has nice fragrance. After washing off the scrub the skin becomes very soft and looks clean and polished. The name of the scrub is thought so well as it does polishes the skin. My Experience
I prefer using a light-weight serum for daily use so that it keeps skin hydrated and doesn't leave oil on the skin. Kronokare Age Prevention Daily Face Serum is thin and spreads easily onto the skin. It penetrates into the skin within 20-30 seconds and makes it soft and supple. The serum also keeps my oily T-zone hydrated for good 6-7 hours (as oily areas on the skin needs extra hydration to balance/reduce the oil production). This serum also acts as a good base before applying makeup along with Kronokare Pollu-Stop Face Mist (Read about it at the end of the blog).

Kronokare Moist-Urge Moisturising Face Cream is best suitable for daily use. This cream forms a thin layer onto the skin and protects it from further dryness. This face cream keeps my cheeks well moisturised (I have combination skin, so T-zone is oily and rest face is dry). With regular usage, I noticed that it helps to lighten pigmentation and make skin even tone (though it takes time and regular usage twice a day to see visible difference).

Tip : Always pat the face cream onto your skin first so that it is applied all over the skin and then massage well. You can use a facial roller with moisturiser as well.

We take care of our skin, but ignore extra care of smaller body parts like lips. Lips need care and moisturisation as much as skin needs. I have included a lip balm in my daily skincare routine.
