This time of the year all of us get busy with Festive Season. It is time to celebrate Navratri, Durja Puja, Karva Chauth and Diwali. It is obvious that so many festivity would bring in busy days for all. Here I am sharing, Fashion Tips That You Should Follow This Festive Season. These tips would help women to stay comfortable as well as glammed up while they shop around or visit family and friends.
Tip 1 : Wear Comfortable Clothes
During Festive Season, we go out to shop or visit our family and friends. It is necessary to stay comfortable while we travel within the city or outside. Keep aside few clothes in which you feel comfortable like kurtis, peplum tops, shirts, tunics or cotton dresses. If you wear comfortable clothing then you won't be irritated with external factors like sun, dust, pollution, sweat, etc. Avoid wearing tight tops because it might irritate you if you wear them for long hours. You can pair comfortable tops with cotton pants, stretchable denims, plazzos, skirts, cotton leggings, etc. These bottom wear keep you going from one place to another. Here, I am wearing short yellow cotton kurti from Libas with cotton pants from Shein. It is loose fit and comfortable.
Tip 2 : Select Comfortable Footwear
While shopping you need to walk around, so always wear footwear that is comfortable. It is necessary to wear flats, shoes or footwear with flat heel. Avoid wearing pencil heel as it would make walking difficult and your feet would hurt later. Few people don't allow wearing footwear in the house, so if you are visiting family and friends then select a footwear that is easy to remove and wear again.
Here, I am wearing a pair of footwear with flat heel. This is comfortable while walking and is easy to remove and wear.
Tip 3 : Don't Forget Skincare and Haircare
When you go out then your home then your skin and hair get exposed to external factors like dust, sun, pollution, etc. It is necessary to take proper care of skin and hair to keep them protected from the mentioned external factors. Always wear a sunscreen if you are going out in the sun, use a rose water to keep your skin fresh and glowing and apply hair serum or hair mist to keep your hair safe from dust and pollution.
Here, I am applying a boost of Organic Rose Water from Juicy Chemistry. This rose water keeps my skin fresh and protects it from external factors. I also keep it in my bag to spray and wipe off the face to remove impurities.
Tip 4 : Wear Light and Waterproof Makeup
When you are going out in between festive days then wear light or nude makeup. Light or nude makeup gives a natural look and doesn't wear off soon. You should wear waterproof makeup as it saves your makeup from sweat. You will look glammed up till the end of the day. You can keep a simple base with light eye look or just an eyeliner or kajal. You can select a lip shade that matches well with your outfit. Don't forget to make your eyebrows and curl the lashes.
Here, I am wearing Jaquline USA foundation and brow pencil, Rang De Lip Colours, Inatur Kajal and Elf mascara.
Tip 5 : Wear Light-weight Earrings
Indian Festive Season is incomplete without accessories. You can opt for wearing light-weight accessories like earrings or a simple chain with a pendant or a nice bracelet along with a ring in each hand. Never wear a lot of accessories because it makes you look weird. Make sure to match your accessories with the outfit. Avoid wearing heavy jewellery as you won't be able to carry it for long.
Here, I am wearing light-weight earrings from Voylla. These go well with western as well as ethnic outfits.
